MAPI32.dll Errors
Hi List!

I am getting MAPI32.dll errors when half of my users try to connect to our exchange server. Recently we had a server that was failing. We moved all mailboxes from this server to a new Exchange 2003 SP2 server and now several individuals can not connect.

I have gone through the ADSI Edit utility and I have found the problem but I don't know how to fix it.

When I go to Domain | DC=domain,DC=com | OU=Users | CN= Firstname Lastname and look at the properties for Attribute: msDS-ReplValueMetaData

I have two entries on the problem users that look like this. (Mail2 is the old server and Mail is the new one)

<DS_REPL_VALUE_META_DATA>
 <pszAttributeName>homeMDB</pszAttributeName>
 <pszObjectDn>CN=Mailbox Store (MAIL2),CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=MAIL2,CN=Servers,CN=First Administrative Group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=Company,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=com</pszObjectDn>

</DS_REPL_VALUE_META_DATA>

For the users that do not have issues connecting they only have one entry. It is the entry above the references (MAIL). I have tried to edit the Attribute and delete the incorrect entry and I get the following error.

"Modification of a constructed attribute is not allowed."

How do I go about removing this entry so my users can get mail?

Regards,

Robby
