Hi all and Merry Xmas I have just successfully added a 2K3 Server alonside my existing 2K (Exchnage) Server in my 2K domain. All went well, adprep, forestperp, etc. FSMO transferred to new 2k3 server OK. However if I now create a user in A.D. on the 2K3 FSMO a mailbox is not automatically created. If I create the user on the old 2K (exchange) server the mailbox is created automatically. Is this a FEATURE and not necessarily a FAULT. TIA Gary D
Hi, A mailbox is not created automatically in Exchange 200x when creating a user and mailbox enabling this user. The mailbox itself is created when the user first starts Outlook / OWA or when a mail is sent to the mailbox.
