Getting ready for Exchange 2003
Hey,

I need to prepare my AD 2000 to Exchange 2003 as i want to migrate my
current 2 Exchange 2000 server to new hardware with Exchange 2003.

I currently have 1 GC and 2 DC on my domain. One of the DC's are
one of my Exchange 2000 servers.

So i figure that i need to get a Windows 2003 Global Catalog
server up and running.
What i plan to do is:

- Run adprep /forestprep on my current Windows 2000 GC (from the Windows
2003 CD).
- Run adprep /domainprep on my current Windows 2000 GC (From the Windows
2003 CD).
- Setup a new Windows 2003 Server and apoint it to be GC.
- Run setup /forestprep (from the Exchange 2003 CD).
- Run setup /domainprep (from the Exchange 2003 CD).

I should then be able to install Exchange 2003.

Does this look right ???.

Thanks,
Jan -
