Re: Mailbox Rights for New Users Shows Only Self
That's correct. Self is shown until the mailbox is logged into for the
first time, then the inherited rights are populated.
Also, the mailbox will not show in Exchange System Manager under the
Mailboxes object until either the mailbox is logged into for the first time,
or you send a message to that mailbox.

Re: Mailbox Rights for New Users Shows Only Self
I have had this problem to, but the mailbox is not being created, even after
two days and a few messages. Also, despite having proxy access to the
account, and proper security settings, I can't access the Inbox. I can get
the folder in my list, but it can't be populated. I assume this has
something to do with the fact that there isn't a mailbox for the user.
I've checked the AD replication service, but everything seems to be working
fine there.
Any ideas?

Re: Mailbox Rights for New Users Shows Only Self
Most like your recipient update service (RUS) isn't running properly or at all
or you don't have an appropriate recipient policy for the user.
