How to know exchange 2000 is running at standard or enterprise edition? And know which service pack has been installed? I know in exchange 2003, if I can't create the second storage group or mailbox , that means I am running standard edition! Any simple way to do? I need to instruct a non technical person to identify this. Thanks
Anyone knows it? Many thanks "Geoffrey" wrote in message news:%23DzVqycwFHA.3400@TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... > How to know exchange 2000 is running at standard or enterprise edition? > And know which service pack has been installed? > > I know in exchange 2003, if I can't create the second storage group or > mailbox , that means I am running standard edition! > > Any simple way to do? Hi, When an exchange information store is started it writes an event to the event log telling whether it is an unlimited version (= enterprise) or a 16 Gb limited (=standard). If you look at the properties of an Exchange server in Exchange system manager it will tell you the service pack installed.
