GAL Error Creating Distribution Groups
Hello all,

I have a Windows 2000 Advanced Server Domain Controller running in a
cluster. I also have a Windows 2003 Server with Exchange 2003 Enterprise
running as a member server in the domain. My problem is, when I try to
create universal distribution groups on the exchange server they get created
fine and it looks as if they work. But they never show up in the GAL.

I have tried going to the 2000 Advanced Server and creating the groups
there. It is weird, when I look in AD there is no group called FrontOffice,
so I right click the OU-->New-->Group and type in FrontOffice and fill in
all the fields and then finish and it prompts me with an error saying the
group already exists. I then look again, and sure enough it is in AD now.
DOH! It wasn't before I started to create it. Well it still isn't showing up
in the GAL, and it is starting to make some users pretty mad. I have tried
this 2 ways, one time with creating an exchange mailbox and another time not
creating an exchange mailbox. I have tried to update the Recipient Update
Policy and that doesn't help. I have also rebooted both servers multiple
times and that doesn't help!

Any ideas experts?
Thanks in advance!
