Email logging
We have an Exchange 2003 Server running and I was wondering if there is a way
in Exchange or through a third party app, so a lof of incoming and outgoing
emails to verify delivery.

We were running MDaemon before and it was nice because you could go into a
log that was generated every day and see if an email came in and was
delivered or not.

Thanks!

Re: Email logging
depending on what you want, cranking up smtp logging can probably give you
most of what you want...

Exchange already has this ability built in. Microsoft calls it "message
tracking"; you can use it to see the inbound and outbound path that any
message has taken. As Susan mentioned, you can also turn up the SMTP
logging level in IIS to see what kinds of inbound and outbound SMTP
traffic is being generated at the edge of your Exchange network.

Cheers,
