Exchange 2003 Management tools installed on Server 2008
I cannot find a way to get the Exchange 2003 management tools installed on a
server 2008 install. I see that Microsoft officially does not support this,
but i can't imagine there is not a work around.

I have followed the Vista work around which does give me the additional
exchange tabs in ADUC. However, when I try to create/delete a mailbox, my
MMC crashes stating "Microsoft Active Directory - Exchange Extension has
stopped working".

Has anyone found a fix for this?

No unsupported work around that I know of yet. Why are you needing to
install Exchange 2003 ESM on 2008 anyways? No way Exchange 2003 is going to
run on Windows 2008 and I see no application on 2008 that would support or
need this.

Re: Exchange 2003 Management tools installed on Server 2008
I'm running a 2008 server on my desktop for testing and therefore had a need
for exchange management. We haven't migrated to Ex 2007 yet, and probably
won't until the end of this year. Since there was a work around for Vista, I
was hoping there may be a workaround for 2008 as well. But it does not sound
like this is the case.

Thanks for the responses.

Re: Exchange 2003 Management tools installed on Server 2008
You just just remote desktop to a server to do management tasks.
I don't think I have had Exchange management tools on a PC since 5.5.
It does take a little getting used too, but its all good.
