Am I supposed to have an Exchange tab in Active Directory Users and Computers?
I thought there was supposed to be a tab called Exchange in Active Directory
Users and Computers.

I have an Exchange 2007 server. I installed Exchange and later installed the
Admin tools that include Active Directory Users and Computers.
When I open Active Directory Users and Computers on the server there is no
Exchange tab.

On my XP Pro SP2 work station I have both the Admin tools and the Exchange
Exchange Management Console installed and I don't have and Exchange tab when
I go into Active Directory Users and Computers.

Is there supposed to be an Exchange tab?

Have I installed thinkgs in the wrong order to have the tab?

If there's supposed to be a tab, how can I get it to show?

Thanks

Kelvin

Not with E2007. Now, everything (including account creation) is done in the
Exchange Management Console.

Re: Am I supposed to have an Exchange tab in Active Directory Users and Computers?
Thanks for the reply.

I'm trying to setup an email/Exchange account so every email he gets go to
Outlook and to his BlackBerry email account.

I was given these instruction but they are for Exchange 2003.

Go into AD and create a new "Contact", enter information, hit "Next". You
will be asked to create a "mailbox". Next to the email field, hit "Modify".
Create an SMTP address using the user's blackberry email address. Finish
creating the contact. Then go into the user's AD account, go to Exchange
General tab, click delivery options, and then add the newly created contact
into the Forwarding options. Make sure to click on the box "Deliver to both
forwarding address and mailbox".

Can you point me in the right direction in Exchange 2007?

Thanks

I think you're looking for this in E2007. In EMC, go to Recipient
Configuration/Mail Contact. Click New Mail Contact, and follow the wizard.
