We've a exchange organization with 5 exchange 2003 servers. We try to export a bulk of PST files with exmerge and this is working if the exmerge client is placed in the same vlan as the DC's and exchange servers. But if we move the exmerge client to another vlan and run the same process there a error generated only when the mailboxes are placed on server5. Server1 till 4 are working fine. The firewall is completely opened for the ip-address of the exmerge client. My guess is that this is a networking issue, but I want to be sure. Is there something on the exchange environment that can cause this? Local firewalls are not used. Kind regards BvdB
