Log tools,
Hiya

Windows 2003 SBS. Exchange 2003 SP2,
We have a problem , Hiya
Thanks in advance.
We are running sbs 2003 std, exchange 2003 sp2, using the inbuilt pop3
connector.

Issues are that all emails are delivered successfully except when the
sender is a large organisation sending emails to multiple users via a BCC.
in these case the emails are delivered to the user specified under the pop 3
(under the connector u can specify where undeliverable mail should be sent).
When the email is traced in the message tracking centre, the message
concerned is delivered to the user specified in the pop3 connector for
"undeliverable mail". An NDR is not sent and we have no indication as to why
the email was not delivered to the correct person.

Is there any way of tracking the message to find out why it is being
redirected ... Perhaps a log I can turn on. Also is there a recommended
viewer for these logs.

This is normal behavior when you are using the POP connector, and is yet
another reason (on the long list of reasons) to avoid using it.
Host your own mail directly via SMTP, and watch this and other problems go
away, <poof>.

See http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF002.html for info on how this
works..

Since you're using SBS, you'll need to run its wizards - and I suggest you
post in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs as SBS does a lot of things its
own way.
