Re: Backing Up Public Folders   
In order to backup public folders correctly, you need to have a vaild 'user' 
account (with an Exchange account) assigned as Owner for each Public Folder. 
Use that user's credentials when performin the backup.  That's it.

BTW - Symantec recently changed their backups from 'Brick-Level' to 
something called Granular backups.  It's much faster and has, so far, worked 
well for us.  Microsoft hasn't approved these kind of backups because they 
haven't purchased a company that knows how yet...
