Is there a version of the Exmon utility or similar that works with Exchange 2007? We have someone with the classic Outlook warning bubble and I think they have some indexing thing turned on but I want to make sure before going into their machine. Thank you!
The Exmon was replaced with the Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant, which is built into Exchange 2007. Unfortunately, the Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant references the use of the ExMon utility (when it identifies unusually high RPC calls, for example) to find out the user account potentially causing the problems. Ex2007 Troubleshooter: "If the operations per second are higher than expected, you should first attempt to identify the cause of high load and then reduce it. You can use the Exchange Server User Monitor (ExMon) tool to identify if a particular user is issuing a high rate of RPC operations." -- Steve Kraus Systems Administrator AFP Imaging Corp.
