Microsoft DST patching
Has anyone here run this yet? more particularly has anyone used the MS
virtual machine to run the update (rebase) tool against Exchange?

I have a client that is preparing for this and they wnat to know if using
the virtual machine, which has Outlook 2007, will cause any problems with
their primarily Office 2003 users . . . my feeling impression from what I
have read is no it will not.

Comments please

Re: Microsoft DST patching
It will not. The VHD still has an older version of the tool - the current
version is 2.0 for Exchange Calendar Update tool, and the Outlook tool has a
hotfix as well (the Outlook tool is also required to be installed on the
computer that's running the Exchange tool) - KB 933146. Recommended to
update the VHD with new versions of the tool.
