Automatic Scheduling
Is there a method for us to automatically place an "appointment" on a persons
calendar?

For instance: We are a small college and it would be really helpful if we
could put class schedules into all of our student's calendars (without the
student having to set it up or accept the appointment).

I think you would be much better doing this from a single aspect. Add
them into a single calendar of a public folder and use a product such
as www.diditbetter.com to sync calendar items, one way, to the
students mailboxes. You can have a calendar per class or something to
sync to a set range of students. Any change you make can replicate
again etc.

Re: Automatic Scheduling
Greetings,

If you create an appointment you can use the Schedule feature to roll out
the same appointment on other students e-mail accounts. While creating an
appointment just click the Schedule tab and either enter the name of the
Student if they are on the Exchange server or type in their e-mail.

Going by your comment (accept the appointment) you most like are already
aware of this feature. Unfortunately the only other alternative is to create
a public calendar (maybe called Schedule) for each class (or groups of
classes) and assign rights for users to view those public folders.

Hope this helps,
