ExBPA 2.6 Mail Test
Hello,

Does the 2.6 version retain the @fabrikam.com domain for the mail test?

Because we have setup an SMTP Connector assigned to a bogus IP address in
order to queue these messages.

Please let me know if I will need to reconfigure if the mail test is
addressed differently.

Thanks,

Re: ExBPA 2.6 Mail Test
Hi there,

ExBPA v2.6 uses the same logic as v2.5. However, in the next XML update
(which will be released at the end of this week), we've added three new
registry parameters so that you can use to control the SMTP protocol
testing:

Path: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\ExBPA
Value: OpenRelayTest
Type: reg_dword
Set to 0x0 if you want ExBPA to not perform the open relay test.

Value: SMTPTest
Type: reg_dword
Set to 0x0 if you want ExBPA to not send a test message to the postmaster
account.

Value: SMTPTestRecipient
Type: reg_sz
Specify the SMTP address to receive the test message. Default is to use the
postmaster account.

Let me know if you have any questions.
