Great Tool!
As you guys know, we have our Exchange customers run your tool before they
install our product.

We just resolved another customer support issue in a few minutes (rather
than hours) by doing the above.

Also, it is quite helpful for me to review the output and see the Exchange
and AD configuration without having to go to the customer site or get on the
phone or email the customer with configuration Qs.

Keep up the good work!

Re: Great Tool!
Thanks Tammy! Would you be kind enough to share the details of the actual
problem found?

Cheers,

Assuming "your tool" is ExBPA? :)

Re: Great Tool!
Actually this one was less complicated than the last one I wrote you about
which involved Domain Controller issues and misnamed server registry entries.

This customer had 7 Exchange servers and the full scan failed with all kinds
of critical errrors (missing Exchange files, DNS issues, etc.).

So our product will not install on a bad Exchange configuration.

Using the different views of the output, I was able to tell him to shutdown
the unused server (for now) and point him to a couple of other issues on the
server he was really trying to use, allowing him to proceed with the install.

Having the big and detailed picture is quite useful; I did not have to email
or talk to the customer.

Re: Great Tool!
Excellent, many thanks. By the way, we'll be releasing a new version of
ExBPA (v2.6) in early March. This includes a *much* cleaner UI for the
reports. We've switched to a tab view; this is much easier to work with than
the current drop-down selection.

Cheers,

Re: Great Tool!
A tab control for report views sounds like a improvement!

BTW: I may be relocating out there in a few weeks. I will let you know if I
do and we can finally have lunch!
