how to completely remove exchange 2007   
I have been able to sucessfully able to uninstall all the roles from the 
exchange server 2007, but i still see the installation in the control panel 
add remove program, i can also see the installation in all programs along 
with power shell. How do i remove these componets.

You've uninstalled the roles but did you also uninstall the Management
Console as well?
PowerShell isn't part of Exchange so uninstalling Exchange wouldn't
affect PowerShell.

Use the GUI, there's a tick box. If you've already uninstalled that
check for any Exchange services. If they're all gone you should move
on with your life. To be honest, if you've uninstalled Exchange you
should probably reinstall the operating system to clean it up anyway.
Personally I wouldn't waste anything like the time you've wasted so
far.

As Mark says it's a tickbox, it will be greyed out when an Exchange Role in 
installed. Once they are removed or checked to be removed the Management 
Tools will become available to also remove.
