Hello to all ... let me explain my environment first: Front End OWA server (Servername: OWA01) - Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 Back End Mailbox Server (Servername: MBX01) - Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 Ok here's my question ... I would like individuals who are internal to be able to open up IE and type only "http://exchange" to access their mailbox through OWA. Within DNS I already created a "CName" which points "exchange" to the "MBX01" mailbox. So now individuals that type "http://exchange/exchange" can access their mailbox, but I would like to remove the 2nd /exchange. Within IIS on the OWA01 box within the Default Website/Home Directory I changed the option to: "a redirection to a URL" typed in "/exchange" (without the quotes) and clicked on the "a directory below URL entered" with no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated ... thanks
Why? Why create the confusion? Do it this way here, and do it that way there. Just use the same URL internally and externally. Your users will thank you.
