I did find that if I change the "dislay name" or similar, the name appeared correctly in new installs. But, it does not seem to catch up to users that had already downloaded the GAL. So now I don't care which way it is but would like to get it consistent..... How can I get the local GAL to update to display changes made on the server?? %$%^ "Dgoldman [MSFT]" wrote in message news:O9KnXCV1IHA.1240@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > http://blogs.msdn.com/dgoldman/archive/2008/06/19/changing-the-display-name-of-active-directory-users.aspx > > -- > This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no > rights. > > Dgoldman > http://blogs.msdn.com/dgoldman > Download OABInteg > (http://gotdotnet.com/Community/UserSamples/Download.aspx?SampleGuid=A2338E73-F521-4071-9B1D-AAF49C346ACD) > > > "John" <jadams@nospam.nospam> wrote in message > news:BA9BBD01-A883-497C-B240-503F2DFB0D09@microsoft.com... >> >> Is there a way to get the GAL to display lastname, firstname for all >> users from the server? new Exchnage 2007 install. clients 2002 through >> 2007. >> > >
