Exchange 2003 to 2007
We have exchange 2003 ENT edition... We want to go to Exchange 2003
Standard... we no longer have a need for enterprise edition... we want to
install this on the same server... currently the server is set up in w2k3
x32 edition... it is a 64bit server... we want to redo the server as w2k8
x64... our mailstore is on a SAN attached via a fiber channel, so we can
wipe the box and keep the mailstore on the SAN... how would we go about
doing this? We only have one server we can use for the "upgrade" (which is
really a reinstall of the os and exchange and upgrading the mailstore)

Re: Exchange 2003 to 2007
Hi,

You can't upgrade the databases from 2003 to 2007 so you must install an
exchange 2007 server in the same organization and then move everything over
to this new server.
