Jetstress installs but will not run   

JetStress will install, but will not go beyond "Checking Test System".  
Searching the net, I find this several times, but no resolution.  

I have JetStress 08.01.0177.000 and am trying to test a cluster for Exchange 
2003.

And copied the following files from the Exchsrvr\bin directory.
ESE.DLL - 10/4/2005
ESEPERF.DLL - 8/25/2005
ESEPERF.HXX - 1/24/2007
ESEPERF.INI - 1/24/2007

Unfortunately, Exchange was installed before I got involved in the project.  
I have stopped all cluster resources with the exception of the disk, Name, 
and IP resources and prior to installing Jetstress, I unloaded the 
performance counters unlodctr ese.

Like other posts, when I run JetStressWIN, I get the message "This process 
is required to restart for the changes to take effect."  When I run using 
JetStressCMD, I get this message, another message "This process is going to 
restart itself within 5 seconds" at which time a new window spawns, with new 
windows spawning after each restart.

I do get a message "Database or Database ==> Instances performance counter 
category is not registered" that displays every time.  

Does anyone have any idea?
