Certificate on phone
We've followed the process to install our private certificate on a
handset with WM 6.1, and it appears in the list of private
certificates.

However, we still cant get OMA to connnect, so to try and track what
was happening, used internet explorer to go to our certificate site,
but (unlike when you do this on a remote PC for Outlook RPC over HTTP)
we still get security errors on the browser page.

Does this mean the cert hasn't installed properly?

TIA,

JohnK

Yes, or it's not named properly, or something. Seriously, though, rather
than waste time on this, I'd suggest you spend $29 a year and get a cheapo
GoDaddy certificate, which will work just fine for this and no more mucking
around with exporting & installing.

If you don't want to go that route, post back with your version of Exchange
(always include version & SP levels when posting in any server group).
