Is it possible to use a host header in Exchange 2003 IIS settings? I put in a new mail server and needed to reissue my SSL certificate, but can only issue it with the same common name as the old server. So, I added a host header to the new server's default website, etc. I also pointed the A record of the old server to my new IP, etc, so both names would get to the new server's site. However, I am unable to get my mobile devices to sync their email using their existing settings with SSL required. I have a feeling I'm going to need to buy a new SSL certificate so I can get it issued with the correct name...anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks! Sara
The Host Header name is the one that you will call from the outside to arrive to your server, so it must match exactly the name that is in the certificate. If you take care that this happens, it will work. -- ---- Helio Diamant - MS-MVP/Mobile Devices Editor www.pocketpcfreak.com "Saral6978" wrote in message news:28ab41d1285d98ca66bd03c3cfd4@msnews.microsoft.com... > Is it possible to use a host header in Exchange 2003 IIS settings?
