RPC over HTTPS
Hi

I published RPC over HTTPS using ISA Server 2006 (Exchange 2007, Outlook
2007), everything works fine.
But when I'm connection to rpc/https from the internal network, I need to
login first.

From the internet the url is webmail.company.com. Internally I set the dns
record webmail.company.com which points to the exchange client access
server. I configured basic authentication. The name resolution works.

I am logged on to the Domain, why do I have to login again using rpc/https
form the internal network?

Thanks and regards
Peter

Re: RPC over HTTPS
Hi Peter,

If you forced to use RPC over HTTPS from the lan this is a "by design"
behaviour.

When you are connected via RPC over HTTPS the authentication will be
requested, every time.
