My primary use for the device is to evaluate the Pushmail

thanks,
Matt

I wouldn't bother even looking at WM5. WM6 has been out for a long
time now and the users will prefer the WM6 when they get it and it'll
position you nicely for Exchange 2007 when you implement it.

As for the device, that's up to you. They're all the same inside so
you're either going to standardise on one device (which I'll bet isn't
a decision you're going to have a say in - given what managers are
like) or you're going to let the users have "any device as long as
it's WM6"

Both WM5 and WM6 will do push but like Mark said I would go with WM6 if at
all possible. You will be in a much better position to possibly get future
OS updates (depends on carrier and manufacture) while WM5 devices are
basically stuck where they're at as far as updates go. Not to mention the
additional functionality you will gain when a WM6 device is paired with
Exchange 2007.

Re: WM5 or WM6 for Exchange Pushmail?
If you are using WM5 with Exchange 2003 or WM6 with Exchange 2003 the
functions are the same. When paired with Exchange 2007 WM6 gives you better
security, mailbox search, sharepoint document viewing and a few other
things.

Re: WM5 or WM6 for Exchange Pushmail?
It also gives HTML mail, out-of-office agent, and much more.
