Yes, via HTTPs. But a better test is https://servername.whatever.com/oma

Do you have a trusted SSL cert installed on your server? If it's a
self-signed cert you need to export it & then install it on the device.....

Did you google? I just did & got lots of hits -

http://www.garlandenterprises.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=94&Itemid=29
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesync/exchange_errors.php (leave off
the 0x....in your error)
http://exchangeexchange.com/forums/t/514.aspx

Google hits here:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS212US212&q=activesync+0x85010004+Treo&btnG=Search

Note - the best group for questions like this is m.p.exchange.mobility - I'm
setting up an x-post to that group.

You'll find it a lot easier to use these newsgroups if you use a newsreader
client (nntp server = msnews.microsoft.com) rather than the web interface,
note.

+ No SSL certificate as of now, working on getting one by
the end of the week.

now.

Any other suggesstions would be great. I have tried another phone as well
with no luck, the PocketPC 6700. I think I am missing something simple with
in exchange, maybe an update or something.

Thanks again,

Joe

Cool.

That's the problem - you need that first.

Either create a self-signed cert (it works but it's a pain if you have more
than a couple of devices) or buy a third party one that will be trusted by
WM devices. I *think* the middle-range GoDaddy certs work, but you should
check. The super cheapo ones won't work.

Nope - it's your SSL cert.
