Any other suggesstions would be great. I have tried another phone as well
with no luck, the PocketPC 6700. I think I am missing something simple with
in exchange, maybe an update or something.

That's the problem - you need that first.
Either create a self-signed cert (it works but it's a pain if you have more
than a couple of devices) or buy a third party one that will be trusted by
WM devices. I *think* the middle-range GoDaddy certs work, but you should
check. The super cheapo ones won't work.
