anyone got any ideas on this one? we've set-up mobile activesync on some of our company smartphones. when set-up with the administrators credentials the phones sync fine (they sync the admins calendar etc - we used this for testing). The problem comes when we try to sync using other user credentials - some users who are members of the domain users group, and some users who are members of the admins group. We just get a SYNC_5 error on the phones. There seems to be plenty of other people on the net who've had the same problem, but none have a solution.
got it to work if we sync just inbox - doesnt work when try to sync the calendar tho
Should not matter as for the user credentials. Anyone with Domain User rights should be able to sync his/her entire mailbox. What type of WM5 phones are you using?
