2003 Local/Server Mailbox Size Difference
I posted this once before but was kind of light on details:

I have one FE and one BE server, each running Exchange 2003SP2. All clients
are running Outlook 2003 in cached mode with the exception of a few network
administrators (self included) running Outlook 2007 (also cached mode). All
of our users have between a 500mb and a 1gb mail limit (depending on their
role in the company)

2 months ago, I received a warning that I was over my size limit. When I
checked, my local copy was below the size limit but on the server it
appeared 200 mb larger. To fix, the problem, I moved all my mail to an
archive and, once the mail server and Outlook agreed that the size was the
same, I moved my mail back. This fixed the problem.

I am now seeing this problem with another user in my organization. The
problem isn't exclusive to the inbox- it seems like almost every folder is a
few mb bigger on the server than locally.Someone recommended I check the
mailbox contents using PFDAVADMIN but when I try to check the main inbox
PFDAVADMIN times out.

Any other suggestions or tools? Also, how does this happen in the first
place?

Re: 2003 Local/Server Mailbox Size Difference
Hi Jeffrey,

Try this and see if any hidden mails stuck up at root of mailbox.
