Re: Name is not being displayed.
Hello,
Thank you for your post.
My name is Robbin Meng, and it is my pleasure to work with you on this
issue!
Please allow me to confirm that my understandings are correct. As I
understand it, the issue is:
One of your domain users sends out e-mails and it shows up as
user@domain.com, instead of first name ,last name. All users are fine
except one.
If I have misunderstood your concerns please feel free to let me know.
This issue may occur if the user's display name has been modified. You can
find the "Display name" in the Active Directory Users and Computers
console, then under user's properties, General tab. "Display name" is used
as the "friendly" or localized name used by other programs, such as
Exchange server to alternate the email address.
Please have a check. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your time and cooperation!
Best regards,
Robbin Meng(MSFT)

Re: Name is not being displayed.
display name appears as "first/last" and not like "user name"
but still e-mails come up as "user name"
