Hello, We are looking to retore a mailbox store from exchange 2000. We are on Exchange 2003 Enterprise sp2. How would I go about doing this? We use EMC (Legato Networker). Do I perform the same process like I would restore on a current mailbox store. I don't mean using the EMC, but in terms of going into the Recovery Storage Group in ESM and locating the database? What if my store is not listed in the current environment? We are looking to retrieve emails from a mailbox so this would be temporary. No need to have in production once the restore has completed. Also, how can I tell when the upgraded exchange occurred from exchange 2000 to 2003. Thanks in advance. Tnt

Create a recovery storage group. Restore to it. Maybe you can restore to your Exchange 2003 recovery storage group, but I'm not sure that will work. I don't recall whether the databases are the same or not. > We use EMC (Legato Networker).
