I don't think you will find a testing procedure, but here is how to move.

If you follow each step and test as you go, it should work.
Once you think everything is right, shut down the old box for a week or two
and watch.
Then once you are 100% sure, remove it.

but as you say, It should works and it seems to work. nevertheless, a
testing procedure is more than welcome to make sure everything is
working fine.
