I have a strange situation that has just started happening in the last 2 or 3 weeks. 1 user deletes a load of emails and then when he logs in on Monday morning, a load of the deleted ones from the last week or two have reappeared in his inbox. He doesn't have a Blackberry or any other kind of device that could synchronise them back in and he has no personal (pst) folders. We are using Exchange 2003 and outlook 2003. I have no idea where they could be coming from as this is the only user affected. Has anyone come accross this before?

Is cached mode enabled? If you disable cached mode, delete the OST file, and then re-enable cached mode, does it help?
Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately, on checking, the user does not have cached mode enabled and there is no OST file to delete "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" wrote: > adrianh wrote: > > I have a strange situation that has just started happening in the > > last 2 or 3 weeks. > > 1 user deletes a load of emails and then when he logs in on Monday > > morning, a load of the deleted ones from the last week or two have > > reappeared in his inbox. > > > > He doesn't have a Blackberry or any other kind of device that could > > synchronise them back in and he has no personal (pst) folders. > > > > We are using Exchange 2003 and outlook 2003. > > > > I have no idea where they could be coming from as this is the only > > user affected. > > Has anyone come accross this before? > > Is cached mode enabled?
