Trying to find out whether the statement found on the internet: "Public Folders don't display free/busy data." is true. As have set up a public folder containing a calendar - Users are able to directly access the public folder calendar and any appointments - but when they go into their own calendar and 'invite' the public folder calendar - the "\\\\" hashes appear and "no information" message is displayed. cheers Martin
My understanding is that this is true, hence why a mailbox is best used for shared calendars. -- Neil Hobson Exchange MVP http://www.msexchange.org/Neil_Hobson/ "mart the bike rider" wrote in message news:B97E1187-7465-4D6C-877B-D01F546B1304@microsoft.com... > Trying to find out whether the statement found on the internet: > "Public Folders don't display free/busy data." is true. > > As have set up a public folder containing a calendar - Users are able to > directly access the public folder calendar and any appointments - but when > they go into their own calendar and 'invite' the public folder calendar - > the > "\\\\" hashes appear and "no information" message is displayed. > cheers > Martin > > >
