Testing domain restructuring in preparation of merging two Exchange orgs. First used ADMT to migrate user accounts with SID history. (This worked fine) Then tried to use Exchange 2003 Migration wizard to move mailboxes. This fails with following errors: 15007: An account could not be created for user 'Lab3User02'. An object with that name already exists ---- 13002: A mailbox could not be found in the target directory with the address 'x500:/o=EXCHORG3/ou=First Administrative Group/cn=Recipients/cn=Lab3User02'. QUESTION: Should I use ADMT followed by Exchange migration wizard OR should the migration process be the other way round (i.e. first use Exchnage migration wiz to create disabled user accounts, move mailboxes, THEN use ADMT to migrate SID history)
Have you considered creating target mailboxes and using ExMerge to move the mailbox content? -- Ed Crowley MVP - Exchange "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!"
