Exchange 2007 in new domain
I have exchange 2007 installed on a windows 2003 server and 1 DC on Windows
2003. My DC was stolen during a break-in. We have a backup of the system
state but I do not have a similar system to restore it on. Can I setup a new
domain controller and have the exchange server join that domain. And are
there any tools to recover the mailboxes on this orphan exchange server that
would export them to a pst file.

Thanks,

Bernard

Re: Exchange 2007 in new domain
You should post this in AD newsgroups because I am wondering if there may
still be a path for you to do a bare metal restore of AD to another server.

Re: Exchange 2007 in new domain
I'd try restoring the DC onto new hardware, usually it'll work OK, if the
disk drivers aren't compatible and it won't boot after the restore just pop
the CD in and do a repair install over the top
