Hi, I am having an issue with exchange 2003 on an SBS 2003 box. When I 1st installed it it ran like it should no issues. After awhile the stores began to dismount for no reason I could see. Then I discovered the AV solution (Nod32) had lost it config, IE the exchange stores were no longer excluded from real time scanning. I configured Nod to exclude this again and thought right all fixed. But it still happens. Most noteably it seems to happen during the SBS backup, but can happen several time a day (but not always). So I was thinking could it be an issue with the vss exchange writer? I have checked the event logs and they are as follows Just after NTBackup starts the following error appears Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeSA Event Category: Monitoring Event ID: 1005 Date: 4/2/2008 Time: 9:52:40 PM User: N/A Computer: ACP-SRV1 Description: Unexpected error <<0xc1050000 - The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed.
