Hello, I am trying to Migrate some Mailboxes from an Exchange 2000 to an Exchange 2007 Server. I always got Error 1008 Event Source: Exchange Migration. After some testing, i found, that there is a problem in the MAPI Connectivity. > test-mapiconnectivity Result Latency(MS) Error ------ ----------- ----- *FAILURE* [Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.MailboxUnavailableExceptio n]: Cannot open mailbox . Inner error [Microsoft.Mapi.MapiE xceptionUnknownUser]: MapiExceptionUnknownUser: Unable to m ake connection to the server. The problem is that it is failing with an Unknown user and its failing to connect to the server. Do you have proper credentials or permissions to both servers? -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
