Hi all, firstly my apologies if i have posted this in the wrong place. One of my clients has had an email problem crop up over the past 2 weeks that i just cannot figure out. They have 2 specific clients who get the following error when trying to send to their info@domain.co.uk account: 503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address 554 5.0.0 Service unavailable I can send into my clients server just fine, along with a majority of other clients. I have got these 2 clients to perform telnet tests but they can connect a-ok and recieve no errors. If anyone has any pointers it'd be much appreciated as my hair is slowly being removed bit by bit , day by day! Cheers
Also i have investigated inbound authentication but i cannot figure it out, if this is going to be someones suggestion at a fix could you possibly point me towards a setup guide somewhere? Thanks
Since you didn't describe what software your client is running, we have no way of knowing whether you've posted in the wrong place. -- Ed Crowley MVP - Exchange "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!"
