I am using VSS do a component wise backup of Exchange 2003 on a win2k3 server. I am using IVssBackupComponents::SetBackupSucceeded for componets selected for backup which i have added using IVssBackupComponents::AddComponent For the first time I am able to truncate the log files, but later I am unable to do so and get the following information on event log , though the backup happens. Information Store (2812) First Storage Group: No log files can be truncated.
