Beginner Question: Want to add a domain name and run DynDNS w/ my test Exchange Server: Tips?
I have a mini network I set up at home to study on. the server is a Win Server03 box which I loaded Exchange03 on. For the FQDN I just used the ".local" domain which WinServer03 defaulted to when I was setting up the DC and DNS for my local network (before I'd even set up Exchange).

What I'd like to do now is point Exchange to the outside world using a ".com" domain run through DynDNS so I can start hitting it from outside and learn a bit more about security, the web interface, etc.

My question is, how difficult is it to add a ".com" domain (after I reg it) to my Server/Exchange and point it to the outside world. Also, are there any/many common pitfalls should look out for when doing this?? I've been going through my Exchange book as well as the web and I am kind of confused on how to get started and what to look out for.

Thanks in advance for any help.
