Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
Hi all,

I am having a problem while copying emails from Exchange to a Shared
Directory on another system in the same domain.

The whole scenario is

I have a domain with three system a Domain controller, an IIS Server and an
Exchange server. The exchange server is in subdomain. I have a Eventsink
registered at the Exchange server system.

when a mail is saved to any of the public folders, the eventsink saves the
mail in a Shared directory on the IIS server.

Everything works fine but when i try to save the file, i am getting "Logon
failure: unknown user name or bad password." However I am able to save the
mail locally on the Exchange server system.

What could be the issue?
