Non-text characters in Exchange store string field
Hello,

I'm developing a web service to provide remote access to Exchange
calendars. I recently came across a case where the
"urn:schemas:calendar:uid" field contains ASCII character 0x05 (ENQ).
Is this invalid data? The SOAP serializer translates this to ""
which is invalid XML and causes an exception in the SOAP deserializer.

Any insight or recommendations? Thank you.
