Prepping forest / domain and installing CAS this weekend.
I know that the installation of the first Exchange server in your environment
will envoke all the schema modifications if you have not done so already
manually and are a member of all the required AD groups, but I was wondering
if anyone has had any issues with either method.. I have a single forest and
single domain, so just to clarify, if I want to do it manually, the only
command I need to run is
"setup.exe /prepareAD", correct? /preparelegacyexchange will be run
automatically.

Has anyone let the installation of the first exchange server run the schema
modifications for them? If so, any issues?

Thanks,

Chris

In a single domain forest, it works just fine simply running setup and
letting it do it all for you. If it fails for some reason, if would
have failed regardless.

So as long as I am schema, enterprise, domain admin and in single
domain/forest just run setup on CAS.. sounds so easy, kinda scary! thanks for
the quick response.
