deleting smtp connector
hello all,

if there is email queued in an smtp connector and I delete the connector,
will the email that was queued in teh connector still go out via the smtp
virtual server?

exchange 2003 ent edt

thanks,
Dan

Re: deleting smtp connector
Hi,

Depends on what the connector was configured to do.

If the connector is configured to use a smart-host the mail can't go out
that way since the SMTP virtuel server does not know about that smart-host.

Re: deleting smtp connector
- Is there a particular reason to delete the Connector?
- If you want, you can remove queued mail from the Queue viewer - it
displays the Connector used for each link/entry.
