hello all, if there is email queued in an smtp connector and I delete the connector, will the email that was queued in teh connector still go out via the smtp virtual server? exchange 2003 ent edt thanks, Dan
Hi, Depends on what the connector was configured to do. If the connector is configured to use a smart-host the mail can't go out that way since the SMTP virtuel server does not know about that smart-host. - Is there a particular reason to delete the Connector? - If you want, you can remove queued mail from the Queue viewer - it displays the Connector used for each link/entry. -- Bharat Suneja MVP - Exchange www.zenprise.com NEW blog location: exchangepedia.com/blog ---------------------------------------------- "danflip" wrote in message news:9306399F-83AB-4AA6-BFDB-1FC618FA0B24@microsoft.com... > hello all, > > if there is email queued in an smtp connector and I delete the connector, > will the email that was queued in teh connector still go out via the smtp > virtual server? > > exchange 2003 ent edt > > thanks, > Dan
