HT CA roles on DMZ network?
Exchange 2007

mailbox cluster on LAN

UM role on LAN

HT CA roles on DMZ network (DMZ in the sense of firewall rules, this network
is part of the domain)

I look at all the MS best practices and I see the CA & HT roles on the LAN.
Also I see MS reccomends the HT role be on the LAN due to RPC
communications.

We'll likely have to configure url redirects for autodiscover, UM etc...and
open the appropriate ports for communication to the mailbox cluster.

Is there anything else possibly overlooked?

Thanks,
Mike Bonvie

Re: HT CA roles on DMZ network?
HT and CA roles are not supported in perimeter networks.

Locating Exchange Server 2007 CAS role in the perimeter?
