Need advice on exchange 2007 planning/configuration
I'm new to exchange 2007 and was wondering if anyone had some ideas to
help me regarding the planning and configuration.

I need an Exchange 2007 setup for 1200 users @ 1GB per Mailbox. I need
to setup some sort of redundancy

Since I am used to Exchange 2003, I'm not sure how this would
translate to a 2007 setup, and if it's overpowered or underpowered:

2x Domain Controllers (HP DL320 G5 / 1 x Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor 3050 / 2GB Ram / 2 x 36GB SAS Drives RAID 1)
***Should any exchange 2007 components go here for performance??****

2x Load Balanced Front End Servers (HP DL320 G5 / 1 x Dual-Core Intel
Xeon Processor 3050 / 4GB RAM / 2 x 73GB SAS Drives RAID 1)

2x Load Balanced Dedicated SMTP Servers (HP DL320 G5 / 1 x Dual-Core
Intel Xeon Processor 3050 / 2GB RAM / 2 x 73GB SAS Drives RAID 1)

4 x Back End Mail/Public Folder Store Cluster Servers (HP DL360 G5 / 1
x Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processor 5130 / 4GB RAM / 2 x 72GB SAS Drives
RAID 1)

Shared Storage (SAN)

HP MSA 1000

2 x 146GB SCSI (RAID 1; transaction logs)

12 x 300GB SCSI (RAID 10; storage groups

Any thoughts? Thanks!!!!!
