Brand New Environment
I have a client with a new AD environment. They are unsure of whether they
want Exchange 2003 or 2007 (depends on a CRM solution they are looking at).
However, before I start migrating users and services to the new domain, I
would like to prep the environment for Exchange. If I prep for Exchange
2007, can I still install Exchange 2003 into this environment?

Why a new domain?
And no, you cannot install 2003 into a fresh forest that has been
prepped for 2007 only.

Re: Brand New Environment
The client has 7 domains (NT, 2000 and 2003), no trust relationships, a Linux
e-mail solution and is having a hard time managing it (multiple user accounts
in multiple domains, as well as other systems). The current state of any one
of the domains is not great. Best solution was to start from scratch and
migrate everything to the new envronment.
