routing to .local domain
Hi

My boss has taken on a client without doing a proper audit of their system
and I am a bit stuck for a resolution.

The current infrastructure of our client consists of a domain in their
HQ(company.com) and a .local domain at a remote office in KL
(company.com.my.local)

They are currently using a pop3 system for the company email with MX records
for the company.com and company.com.my email pointing to the pop3 server at
HQ and that server forwards all company.com.my mail to a pop 3 server on the
DC in the company.com.my.local domain where users are pointing their outlook
at.

The problem arises is I am not sure howto setup the exchange server at
company HQ to forward company.com.my email to the exchange server in the
..local domain. I was thinking of adding the company.com.my address to the
recipient policy on the HQ exchange server as well as the one in KL and
setting up a routing group on the .local server pointing to the exchange
server in HQ to pick up the company.com.my mail but I am not convinced it
will work.

Anyone had any similiar setups as any advice would be appreciated
