Exchange Server Disconnect Issue
Hi,

Recently I received a lot of complaints from our user saying that they
had experienced Exchange Server disconnect issue. The problem is a bit
weird because most of the time, user can get connected to the referred
Exchange Server but when the status change to "trying to connect" it
took very long time for the resumption. When I check the connection
status, it was specified as disconnected to the particular Exchange
Server (by right click the Exchange Icon on the task bar). For your
info, the user (outlook client) is connected to Exchange Server via
VPN. From the ethereal trace that I had captured on the user terminal,
I found that there were no unique error messages besides TCP dup ack
(referring to the MAPI unknown response sent by the server.

I really appreciate your feedback on this.

Thanks,

sbsibra

Re: Exchange Server Disconnect Issue
How about if you run outlook /rpcdiag from run command? Is this only when
connected with VPN client?
